Dockets for concrete demolition and removal
Controlled demolition crews saw, drill, split and remove, and each part is charged a different way. Core Docket puts the metres, the hours, the equipment days and the loads on one signed docket and prices them from your price list. The office gets a draft invoice that already has the disposal on it.
Free for a month, no credit card. Every feature included: no tiers, no add-ons, free updates.
Work priced three ways on one docket
By measurement
Saw cuts per metre by depth, core holes by diameter and depth, and wire sawing per square metre, priced the same way as a cutting job.
By the hour and the person
Labour, splitting, breaking and grinding go on as hours, and labour multiplies by the number of people, so three people for eight hours is 24 hours.
By the day and the item
Equipment such as a generator or water pump can be charged per day, and disposal per item, such as a bin, a truck load or a slurry drum.

How a demolition price list is set up
Core Docket has no special demolition module. Your price list is loaded into sections, and each section is set up with the way that work is measured: metres, depth, holes, hours, days or a count. That is enough for most removal work, because the docket only needs to record what was done and how much of it.
Disposal is usually a count. A truck load, a skip, a 1,000 litre IBC or a 220 litre drum each becomes an item with its own price, and the crew enter how many. Items you price by hand, such as a load of mixed waste, can be left at $0. The invoice marks them "No price yet" and asks before sending them to your accounting suite at $0.
Minimum charges, callout fees and after-hours minimums apply the same way as on a cutting job, worked out from the job's actual times. See how the rate card handles sections and minimums.
Multi-day jobs and crews of any size
- A removal job booked across several days keeps one job number, and each day's docket adds to one draft invoice with the lines marked by day.
- Two or three people can be on one job, and it shows on each of their rows on the schedule board, with double bookings flagged.
- A booking can require a PO or order number before it is saved, which head contractors usually ask for on the invoice.
- A month of work for one builder can go on a single invoice: filter dockets by customer and dates and tick them.
- Time on site is compared with the work recorded at the end of each docket, so a missed hour of labour shows while the crew are still there.
- A skip bin or IBC left on site can go out on hire: a drop-off docket when it arrives, a collection docket when it comes back, and the hire charged at collection.
Safety records and the customer's copy
SWMS and site sign-on
SWMS sign-on, Take 5, toolbox talks and plant pre-starts are included at no extra cost. Every feature is in one plan, with no tiers or add-ons. See SWMS and pre-starts.
Stop questions
A safety question on the docket can stop it going further on the wrong answer, for example services not located, so the crew call the site manager first.
A signed copy on your letterhead
The finished docket, with photos and the site contact's signature, is emailed to the customer as a PDF on your letterhead.
