CoreDocket Cookie Policy
Effective date: 21 September 20261. About this policy
This policy lists the cookies and other browser storage used on coredocket.com.au and in the CoreDocket application, the purpose of each, and how long each is kept. It should be read with the Privacy Policy, which describes the personal information collected through them.
2. Summary
- CoreDocket sets no cookies of its own on a visitor who is not signed in.
- On the public marketing pages, the only cookies are set by Microsoft Clarity, a session-recording and heatmap service. Clarity can be switched off in section 5.
- Once signed in, CoreDocket uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. These are necessary for the application to work.
- CoreDocket does not use advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies, and does not sell information collected through cookies.
3. Cookies on the public marketing pages
These are set only on the public pages of coredocket.com.au, and only when session recording is allowed. Clarity does not run on the sign-in page or on any signed-in screen.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _clck | Microsoft Clarity | Identifies a returning browser to Clarity so that visits can be grouped. | 1 year |
| _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Links the pages viewed in one visit into a single recording. | 1 day |
| MUID and other cookies on clarity.ms | Microsoft (third party) | Set on Microsoft's own domains when Clarity loads, to identify the browser across Microsoft services. | Up to 1 year |
Microsoft’s handling of Clarity data is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement at privacy.microsoft.com. Microsoft may change the names and lifetimes of its cookies; the list above was verified on 21 September 2026.
4. Cookies after signing in
These are first-party cookies set by CoreDocket only after you sign in or use a feature that requires them. None is used for advertising or shared with a third party.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-…-auth-token | CoreDocket (Supabase) | Keeps you signed in. Strictly necessary. | Until you sign out, and at most 400 days |
| cd_surface | CoreDocket | Remembers whether you use the office app or the field app on this device. | 1 year |
| cd_window | CoreDocket | Remembers the date range you chose on lists in the office app. | 12 hours |
| cd_today_cleared, cd_map_dismissed | CoreDocket | Remembers items you have dismissed for the day. | 1 day |
| xero_oauth_state, myob_oauth_state | CoreDocket | Protects the connection to your accounting system against forgery while it is being made. Strictly necessary. | 10 minutes |
5. Switching off session recording
Session recording can be switched off for this browser below. When it is off, Clarity does not load on this site and the Clarity cookies on coredocket.com.au are removed. Cookies Microsoft has already set on its own domains can only be removed through your browser settings.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, session recording is switched off automatically.
6. Other browser storage
The following items are held in your browser’s local or session storage rather than as cookies. They are not sent with each request.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| cd_sid (session storage) | CoreDocket | A random identifier for the current tab, used by our own analytics to group the pages viewed in one visit. It is not a cookie and is not sent to any third party. | Until the tab is closed |
| cd_get_started (session storage) | CoreDocket | Holds your answers to the Get started questions while you move between steps. Contains no name or contact details. | Until the tab is closed |
| cd_recording_off (local storage) | CoreDocket | Remembers that you switched session recording off. | Until you switch recording back on or clear your browser data |
| Chat settings (local and session storage) | 3CX | Remembers the state of the live chat window and any conversation in progress. | Until you clear your browser data |
The live chat window on the public pages is provided by 3CX and loads a typeface from Google Fonts. That request sends your IP address to Google but does not set a cookie.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
All modern browsers allow cookies to be viewed, blocked and deleted in their settings. Blocking the cookies in section 4 will prevent you from staying signed in to CoreDocket. Blocking the cookies in section 3 has no effect on the use of the site.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy is updated when a cookie or storage item is added, removed or changed. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
